
How on-pack promotions connect with customers and drive sales
At Radnor we enjoy looking at ways we can differentiate ourselves and help to drive customer engagement.
It’s a highly competitive retail environment and we love being able to offer our customers the opportunity to win a range of prizes.
This Autumn we have unveiled a Radnor Fruits collaboration with Disney to celebrate the live-action reimagining of their 2002 animated classic Disney Lilo & Stitch.
Our specially branded 200ml Tetra Paks feature a design of the Disney Stitch character from the film and in flavours which include Apple, Forest Fruits and Orange.
Customers buying the new limited-edition drinks online or in-store across the UK at Morrisons will have the chance to take part in a TikTok live event with giveaways.
What are on-pack promotions?
On-pack promotions are promotional offers that appear on a product’s packaging.
They can take different formats including the chance to win trips, money-off vouchers, merchandise or other prizes.
We have recently collaborated with Disney to coincide with the release of their new film Disney Lilo & Stitch and our promotional packaging features their Stitch character.
We will also be supporting the collaboration with in-store sampling, advertising and Disney digital POS as well as social media events and giveaways.
Why we chose Radnor Fruits for the collaboration
Radnor Fruits is a School Approved (in England, Wales and Northern Ireland) range of ambient juice drinks which contain 50% Radnor Hills spring water, 50% real fruit juice and no added sugar.
The Radnor Fruits Disney Stitch range is packaged in lunch box ready Tetra Pak cartons made with a pull tab technology which means children can drink straight from the pack.
The drinks align with government guidelines of school foods standards and are CQUIN and HFSS compliant as well as being allergen free.

We’ve been keeping children happily hydrated for over 30 years so it’s very exciting to announce our first collaboration with Disney.
Disney Lilo & Stitch is a film celebrating the importance of family and community which makes this collaboration extra special as our Radnor Fruits brand is loved by children and parents alike and is all about creating moments of joy.
The new trio of our best-selling fruit flavours have been a success from the start with retailers and foodservice loving the combination of Radnor Fruits, a trusted family brand, with the fun of a Disney Stitch design.
How collaborations can drive sales and strengthen brands
We’re seeing branded and licensing products like this really fuelling the growth of the category. We know that foodservice venues and supermarkets are also looking for products that they can trust and that their kids will enjoy.
Parents are busy and they’re increasingly paying close attention to the ingredients used in children’s beverages and like School Approved drinks.
Our Radnor Fruits Disney Lilo & Stitch range is designed for convenience and is perfect for lunchboxes, travel or daily hydration with our 200ml cartons perfect for little hands.

When we pick partners to collaborate with, brand values are non-negotiable. Any collaboration needs to align closely with what our brand stands for.
The right partnership should not only make sense to our customers, but must also enhance how they perceive both brands. When this clicks, it adds real value, drives excitement on the shelf and builds a stronger consumer loyalty.
We have previously run very successful partnerships with Alton Towers, Go Ape and Sea Life.
We partnered with Europe’s largest entertainment group Merlin Entertainments to offer ‘Kids Go Free’ vouchers for Sea Life aquariums in the UK on promotional bottles.
Next we teamed up with the UK’s leading theme park Alton Towers Resort to launch our ‘Radnor Thrills’ promotion which offered 2 for 1 tickets on all promotional 500ml Radnor Splash labels. It offered our customers real value for money and the promotion saw our Radnor Splash sales increase by 40% month-on-month.
More recently, we partnered with the UK’s number one adventure company Go Ape for two years to run a very successful ‘Fuel the Fun’ promotion to win weekly vouchers to enjoy a tree top adventure. Customers simply scanned a QR code on promotional bottles of Radnor Fizz from selected ASDA, Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury’s stores as well as catering outlets and school canteens across the country to enter. We have tens of thousands of entries.
