Our Heritage

The Radnor Hills water source was recognised as Natural Mineral water in June 1988 and has been available commercially since 1990. Supplies started at McDonald's on test in 1991 and distribution was widened in June 1992. A new plant was installed in 1995, and started producing carbonated water in addition to still products. Radnor Hills launched its first sparkling fruit flavoured range in September 1995 which soon became a well established brand and accounted for 50% of the entire business.

In 1999 the company achieved the EFSIS accreditation and now consistently achieves EFSIS higher level accreditation, incorporating the BRC Standard.

The company strives to re-invest in the future and currently has 4 production lines on site.  A glass line packaging 330ml and 750ml spring water and juice drinks, including tunnel pastuerisation. Three PET lines for both still and sparkling mineral waters, fruit flavoured soft drinks and juices in a variety of sizes and packaging types.

The latest PET production facility includes tunnel pastuerisation, making Radnor Hills one of the 1st companies in the UK to offer a preservative free PET soft drink in the UK, now an essential requirement to meet School Food legislation. Following this the company has experienced strong growth, Radnor Fruits, Fizz and Fruit Cola are now strong brands within this sector.

During 2010 Radnor Hills bottled 62 million litres of water. 2011 sees the installation of a further 4th PET production facility to cope with the increasing demands from the multiple supermarket own label sector.

Our small but very experienced team are totally committed to our responsibility to protect the environment and sustain our resources and we have an ongoing strategy for reducing packaging waste, carbon emissions and the impact on the environment, as well as supporting ethical projects such as the One Water foundation, with which we are closely involved.
